Mix & Match: How to Create Endless Swimwear Looks with Just a Few Pieces

One of my favorite things about swimwear is how versatile it can be. You don’t actually need a suitcase full of swimsuits to look amazing on holiday. With just a few well-chosen pieces, you can mix and match to create endless looks that feel fresh every time.

That’s something I always think about when I design. A black bikini top that pairs with any bottom. A bold printed piece that works beautifully with a solid. And then there are the string dikinis. With extra-long ties, you can wrap, twist, and knot them in so many ways that it feels like you’re wearing a completely new bikini each time. One day it’s classic, the next it’s criss-crossed, and so on. It’s such a simple detail, but it gives you freedom to be creative and make the look your own.

It’s not just practical—it’s playful.

The beauty of mixing and matching is that it lets you express yourself differently each day without buying 10 different swimsuits. One day you’re chic and minimal, the next you’re bold and vibrant. It’s also perfect for travel—less to pack, but more options to wear.

I love the idea of a swimwear capsule wardrobe. Just a few pieces you truly love, that you can style and restyle endlessly. It’s intentional, sustainable, and stylish all at once. And honestly, isn’t that the dream?

With love,
Didi 💋
