I also wanted to create a name that wasn’t directly tied to me. I wanted people to fall in love with the products and the brand for what they represented—not for who was behind it. I loved the idea of growing SwimsByDidi with a focus on the quality and the inspiration behind each piece rather than my own identity.

The idea for the Dikini started with a need for something I couldn’t find in stores—swimwear that fit my shape perfectly. As I sketched out my first designs, I realized I wanted to keep things simple yet personal. The name Dikini came naturally. It was a play on “Didi’s bikinis,” a way to make the style feel uniquely ours. And just like that, the Dikini became our signature product.
